Experience of the auto-adjust layout and enhancement of the editing capabilities

Acrobat has introduced editing capabilities that are enhanced with an editing experience that is multi-page and seamless. There is no need to adjust manually the content for fixing overlaps when you edit a PDF document. The new mode of auto-adjust layout in Acrobat can adjust automatically the content and also the reflows.

Key Features

  • Images and text automatically adjust across the different pages when you edit
  • Margin and the document layout are preserved when you edit
  • Select text when navigating across the different paragraphs with the help of the cursor
  • Make images or text inline in front of the content of the document
  • Easily select the text across the boxes on any page.

Note: The new layout of auto-adjust is available for only the PDF documents in English. The experience is being tested by Adobe in Acrobat.

Request Signatures Integration with Microsoft Outlook

When you attach any PDF document and compose an email, you are prompted to make use of the ‘Request Signatures’ tool by Acrobat. For eg, when you use terms like ‘application’, ‘forms’, or more, these terms are recognized by Acrobat and you are prompted to use the ‘Request Signatures’ tool.

Note: This new integration is being tested in Microsoft Outlook and thus this tool of ‘Request Signatures’ might not be available to all the users.

Organize Pages sub-tools in Edit, File, and Quick Tool menus

The sub-tools of Organize Pages like the ‘’delete’, ‘insert’, or ‘rotate’ pages are available from the File, Quick Tools and Edit menus. This is for ease of access.

Acrobat tools in the File Explorer context Menu of windows 11

Acrobat tools like the ‘Convert’ and ‘Edit’ are available now from the File Explorer ‘Context’ Menu on the Windows 11. The options of the context menu are displayed depending on the actions supported by the file type. The option of ‘Share’ is also added to the share feature of Windows.

Seamless Experience in workflows of file collaboration

You get a seamless experience with Acrobat in collaboration workflows of review and view files. A review files that is ‘unshared’ is removed from all file listings not only in Document Cloud but also Acrobat. In the same manner, the context board consistently appears for all the files that are shared and listed on ‘Starred’ tabs or ‘Recents’ of Acrobats.

When you conduct a search for files in the Acrobat, the results include not only the files shared but also agreements and the non-PDF files that are saved on your account of the ‘Document Cloud’.

Acrobat did not allow ‘VoiceOver’ to scroll past the last seen element in the earlier version. Now this has been fixed and you can scroll to the ‘off-screen’ using the ‘VoiceOver’ in Acrobat.

Support for dragging and dropping PDF pages to the desktop with the ‘Protected ‘Mode ‘on’

You could not drag and drop off the PDF pages from the ‘Organize Pages’ tool or the thumbnail view to the desktop and create any new PDF’s in the earlier version of Acrobat. This has now been fixed and Acrobat can display the ‘Save-as’ dialog box when you drag and drop the PDF pages to your desktop. You are prompted to enter any file name and save the specific file.
